Take Good Care
For our first collaboration with Swiss-born and New York-based visual artist, Kelly Dabbah, we embraced Kelly's love for blending contradictions, changing proportions, and shaking conventions. Take Good Care is a true aesthetic collision - both in theory and in practice. Using our perfected techniques, we have brought Kelly's whimsical yet charged images to life in a brand new context. A traditional fish shape, hand-crafted from high-density polyurethane foam with double basswood stringers, serves as the canvas for her poignant message. While Take Good Care is fully functional on the wall and at sea, the piece takes on an even greater purpose - to inspire change. A portion of this piece's sales will directly support the Surfrider Foundation's mission to protect our oceans and beaches for generations to come.
